Am I just grasping straws or was the character, Erick Parrish a reference to EPMD and Kwame, from this week, the next in a list of late 80's mc's to make cameos?

Yeah, Eric Parish definitely. Kwame? Not so much. The character was originally named Quami. (pronounced a little different.) More based on a guy I used to know than on "The Boy Genius." Still, it's the man we all know and love...

Thanks! Between this thread and the soundtrack one, it sounds like we had similar tastes in music back in the day. If I spot any more as I get into further episodes, I'll hang back a bit first and see if anyone else spots them. :)
Interesting thing is the only Audio Two song I'd ever actually heard was "I Don't Care" -- it wasn't easy to get rap tapes here in Louisville in the 80s, at least out in the burbs where I was, and that was what got played on MTV.
Looking forward to listening to episode ten on the way to work tomorrow...
