I'm about half-way through A Long Way from Disney: Part I, and loving the stories and the way they are being read. "White" was terrific. It literally stopped me in my tracks. (I was listening to it while walking for exercise.) The ones about the fight over the stolen $5 and the encounter with the friend's sister (I'm sorry to reduce the story to a tagline -- each story is so much more than that, but I don't remember all the titles) were great, too, and had excellent endings. The one about the kid going to the party (I think I had a friend like Alan Sherman, too) and almost getting hit by the truck (ditto) was delightful and as good as anything Stephen King wrote about childhood, discovery, and lessons learned. And the one about EST, when the parents first break up, was a wonderful story. In all the stories, you get to see into the heads and hearts of the parents and/or friends as well as the kid, and the dynamics of their interactions are palpable. I react like it's happening to me. Talk about buttons! The style of the reading, too, adds a sense of timing to the story that I could miss if I read the stories silently to myself. But I'd like to read them anyways. Any change these stories will be published as an anthology soon? I'd like to introduce my friends (the ones who don't listen to podcasts and don't read crime novels) to these stories.

Yeah I totally agree, I
Yeah I totally agree, I listened to most of them as they were released, it certainly shows a different side to Seth's writing and taps into many experiences I can relate to which is really cool
