This is an honest assessment of where things are with this Palms Daddy and the overall Palms Nation as: 1) We get closer to May 5th and Cinco de Junius 2) I get closer to Tyrus Books's deadline for my final manuscript of YOUNG JUNIUS for layout 3) I work to generate promo and buzz for May 5th AND 4) I get serious about what I need to prioritize up here in the Bat Cave.

Plus: Comments on the fruitfulness of giving away free fiction in response to recent posts by J.C. Hutchins (and here) and others. --Basically, I'm all for Hutch and still think we have a lot to gain in this space.

I heard about some people giving JC shit about not giving away stuff anymore. I don't get that. At all. While I agree with you that the free model works, it's obviously his decision to make. You can't podcast Triad Death Match in April because you have to write a book? Umm, yeah, I think that's OK.
