Fri, 01/16/2009 - 02:22
when i first discovered the genius that is SETH HARWOOD it was offcorse JACK WAKES UP but i had a bit of a problem getting in to it, nothing wrong with the way it was written or anything like that , there was just something that didn't click. i listened to the first eppisode and then didn't listen for week's i nearly deletted it from my itunes then one day i ran out of things to listen to so i continued with the story, i think the turning point for me was when jack discovered the dead dog, from then on i was hooked and am proud to call myself a PALM'S DADDY. i would be interested to hear at what point you all got hooked.
hurry up the " CINCO DE HARWOOD"

Scott told me to!
Scott told me to download Jack Wakes Up and listen to it. I always do what Scott says (at least I let him think that). I enjoyed it so much that I listened several times!!!!!

Getting Hooked
I got hooked on Seth when I bought the Jack Wakes Up paperback. I read it, then HAD to hear the podcast! Scott Sigler got me started listening to podcasts and I've been hooked ever since.

Rob Walch turned me on to JWU
I can not remember which podcast Rob does (podcast411 or Today in iPhone) in which Seth was invited to read a chapter but that was all it took to get me all into his feed.

Hutchins!
The 7th Son trilogy was my first podiobook, and at some point while I was listening, the main Hutchins site was talking about the big Palms Sunday event. I missed out on my chance to help out with that, but when I got around to listening (which I think was next, even before I listened to any Sigler), I was hooked!

I heard of JWU everywhere
Yeah, I've heard all the promos on all the podcasts but I'm not really into the whole crime genre, so I kept away from Seth's books.
Until I finished listening to everything else. I picked up A Long Way from Disney on podiobooks.com and I was hooked! Totally hooked on Seth's voice. I love voices. Nice voices can tell me any story. Even crime!
That's how I started listening to all of Seth's books and I must admit that besides the awesome voice, all of the JP books are pretty nice stories! I'm even starting to like the genre too

I started with Earthcore too.
I too found out about Podcast Audio Books with Earthcore from Scott Sigler. It was on a later Sigler podcast that I found out about Seth and JWU. I've been a Big fan ever since. Thanks Seth for all the hours you have spend to entertain us. To find more Free Audio Book visit my site at http://truckerrich.com ;-)

Hey I AM
You just keep following me everywhere I go. I think I best get me a "This is Life" t-shirt before "our boy" makes it down to Houston!

Oo, and for the rest of us?!?
Do you have two more podiobooks waiting for us too? I would love a few more books by your voice, Seth.
Bring it on :)
Fill me up! (oh, that's my mp3 player talking)

Glad we agree!
Seth just has one of those James Bond type of sexy voices. Even when I'm reading the books his voice still comes through. So women, what are you waiting for.

I know :)
I love getting all
I know :)
I love getting all fired up about a new author, and having a bunch of their stuff to still get through. The withdrawal from when you get through the back catalog and have to start waiting for new stuff sucks, though :)

Also, you can look forward to Hot Tub content from me weekly going forward! It's the new state of the Seth podcast!
You guys are really getting me pumped to get more content out!

The original reason i first
The original reason i first listened to Jack Wakes Up was cause he was mentioned by Scott Sigler and a couple other authors and eventually i was running low on podcast books to listen to at work so i figured I would give Jack Wakes Up a try. I ended up liking it and moved on to getting the other 2 Jack Palms podcasts off of podiobooks and eventually Young Junius, which i listened to back in January/February this year. Good stuff. Actually saw the announcement for the special edition of Young Junius shortly after finishing the podcast.
