YOUNG JUNIUS and Palms Sunday on the way!

Two exciting things are about to happen: First, next Sunday is Palms Sunday, a day that we both know means a lot around here. It's now two years since we busted Amazon in the chops and got NYC publishing to recognize us! Since then, we got Jack Wakes Up out from Random House, selling well, and my second book, YOUNG JUNIUS is on the way, coming out in the fall from Tyrus Books!!! (More on that in a min.)

First, let's celebrate this Palms Sunday by telling people what we've done. If you know anyone who's not up on how we made Jack Wakes Up a hit and a major publishing release, let 'em know. We should see how high we can get the Amazon numbers for JWU again! As I write this, it's at 74k and usually hovers around there. Want to see if we can get back inside 10,000 on 3/28? Why not? Second, and what I'm really pumped about, is that YOUNG JUNIUS is coming out in the fall! Not just that, but starting May 5th (Cinco de Harwood), you'll be able to pre-order signed, numbered special-edition, bonus content copies of YOUNG JUNIUS that will only be available by pre-order to you and the rest of the Palms Family this spring! This version of the book is going to be hot! I'm talking about bonus features, a special insert of pictures of locations in the book, enhanced cover stock and special cover-art by Palms Daddies Jerry Scullion and Bob Ostrom. It's going to be something really special: a collector's item you'll definitely want to pick up! I can't wait to show you how it will look!

JWU 2

i love your audio books. Im a lot behind on shows, and maybe you have mentioned this before, but if you had to guess when possibly JWU 2 is coming out in book form when would you think that might be? peace!

Jack Palms 2: The When?

Well, here's where things are on JP2: I've finished a major revision of the draft, one that brings JP2 and JP3 together into one longer book. I think it's stellar, gonna be great. My agent has the Manuscript now and will get it to my editor at Random House/Crown, Julian Pavia, by early April. Then, we'll have to see what he and his bosses decide. He's pumped to read it. That's all I know. If they buy it, it'll most likely come out in Spring 2011.

So I'm thinking/hoping that we're looking at Spring/Summer 2011 for JP2.
