Character Voices or Just Read?
Why mess with success?! I can't imagine the JP stories without all those great voices. I, for one, think that's a major part of the stories' success. It helps me to imagine the action like a movie between my ears. Then, when I read the book, I found myself imitating the same voices.
Oh, Future Crime Overlord, have mercy on us mere minions and please keep the voice characterizations. It just wouldn't be the same without them. Or, as Junius would say: "F&$@, Harwood, whatcha dooin'? Don' mess wit ma sounds!"

Yeah, ummm...
Well, me being a strict honkey and all, I think I'm going to have trouble doing a whole cast of characters with black people voices. I pulled it off for a story, but for a whole book, I'm afraid I'll sound too ridiculous. But your feedback is duly noted, as are the emails taking the other side of this coin.
As Junius would say, "Get that fucker out, Harwood. The people be wantin' their story."
As Confuscious might say, "He who doesn't try new methods, never benefits from finding different truths."
How about that for an impromptu koan??

I thought the voices characterisations you did in the JP series were great.
But anything is good, just bring it out!
